There is nothing to compare to local natural honey, it is a good source of simple carbohydrates, vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants, and enzymes, it contains plant chemicals that act as antioxidants too, which help protect the body from cell damage.

We’ve named the honey ‘Fiddlers Hill’ to give it an identity with which locals can associate the honey with, as it has been collected from bees situated in and around Shipton Under Wychwood allotments.

The current batch is thick set honey which if you want to make runny, the best way is to put in a bowl of water no more than 35C/95F until it is soft

There is no other honey blended with the Fiddlers Hill honey and it has not been treated in any way. Filtering or heating honey can mean that some of the goodness is removed so we strain our honey through 400 micron strainers, leaving just the honey in the state it is was stored in the comb by the bees. Straining also removes any wax residue from the uncapping process at the point of extraction.
